I have this CD from time of release. On some of the tracks (not track 1), if you play with the balance knob on your stereo, you can isolate the instruments. Instead of all the instruments being recorded/mixed in stereo, some were recorded on the left channel and some on the right channel. From memory, the bass and drums are on one side and the guitar and vocal are on the other side. I don't know but I assume the vinyl versions are the same.
