Reviews
- Unusual, provocing and courageous album. MJQ is my lovest jazz group and this one is like sweet cake. In fact there is no fusion of classical and jazz, but perfect cooperation of two equivalent bands - chamber orchestra and MJQ. The first two song were recorded at once without break. Phenomenal. The sound of my 60´s pressing is excellent. Stereo version is to my mind better than mono, especially for the second side. The instruments have very good separation an clarity. Deep, clear bass and colourful vibraphone, crystal cymbals, warm piano, real strings. Also in louder passages. Highly recommended.
