- Anyone seeing Lightfoot live today can't help but notice how frail and dry his voice is these days but his playing and passion remain solid and it is still an event to see one of the greatest singer/songwriters of his generation. Somewhat surprisingly the only live recording of Lightfoot is Sunday Concert in 1969 and this compilation is an attempt to correct that. Shrewdly Lightfoot has steered away from very recent recordings and has claimed that the audio is as was taken from the sound desk with no subsequent treatment. Whilst Lightfoot's voice is not at its vintage best this is fans must for collecting the most up to date record of Lightfoot on the road and, presumably, his last.
