Intimate, literate, and designed to make you squirm, just like Serge Gainsbourg. An excellent recording and transfer. Probably helped sell more tires than any of the idiotic commercials produced for just such a purpose.

This is the rare original version of the album, which was withdrawn after Michelin cited trademark infringement in both the song "Michelin Man" and the cover art (which originally depicted a hippotamus drawn in the style of Michelin's mascot Bibendum). The version now available omits the offending track and has a re-drawn sleeve.
