    I was very excited when I saw the lineup for this release, but to me it's a little flat. Solarstone engages 2 other DJs for a 3-disc affair, bringing in a prog DJ like he did in Vol 4, and a degga-degga trance DJ like vol3 for the best of both worlds. It's a nice idea but I find the mixes in general a little uninspired. Forerunners, a label stalwart and enigma in the 00s on Touchstone, delivers a sleepy progressive mix, some good tunes but definitely background music. Solarstone delivers the best mix of the 3 imo, but it pales slightly in comparison to the earlier volumes. Still a solid mix, and he goes in with high energy, but a lot of filler. Sneijder delivers a steroid-trance mix that I am generally not a fan of, so perhaps not a hugely objective review of it. All-in-all a slightly tepid affair, 3.5/5
