Reviews
- Stunning album. Smooth pop rock with a unique Scottish vibe. It has to be one of the best pressing I own. The instrument separation is astonishing. Everything Grahamme Skinner touches is gold. Am listening to Witness currently.
- Edited one year agoIn my opinion the 1st Hipsway LP is one of the most underrated pop rock albums of the mid eighties, with a soulful touch driven by funky guitar grooves (The Broken Years). Each single song on this album has it’s own very unique charm, especially the slow tracks (Long White Car) and the midtempo ones (Ask The Lord, Tinder, Set this Day Apart). I‘m sure this album will be recognized by a larger audience someday.
