Lady Fingers credited as : Ladyfingers (Phyllis Bridges)
This CD is incredibly hard to find, but so worth having if you're a fan of that mid-80s to early-90s midatlantic sound by bands including Southern Culture on the Skids, the Smithereens, Don Dixon, etc. Produced by Jeff "Flesh Hammer" Walls (Guadalcanal Diary, The Woggles), It's an eclectic mix of rockabilly, surf, honky tonk, and more. According to a conversation I had with Jeff (RIP, Flesh Hammer), "It was recorded for Zontar Records, which was the record label that the manager of Wuxtrey Records (a record store in Athens) started around '91. Unfortunately it was revealed that he was embezzling from Wuxtrey to fund the label and he had to leave town rather quickly, forcing the label to fold. There were only one or two thousand "Hypnotica" CDs produced (can't remember now)."
