• Discogs selling fees have increased, and they will now take a part of the shipping costs. Not to mention the double dip when you consider PayPal fees. 😕 Discogs is suggesting that sellers may want to raise their prices, but we are doing the opposite (consistently *lowering* our prices)! If you’re in the Continental US remember, we offer Free Standard Shipping on orders of $200 or more. If you’re local, or will be visiting Los Angeles, consider taking advantage of Free Local Pickup! OR… Make Offers on a big pile! We’re reasonable people, but we will not waste our time.

• During periods of the year in regions where temperatures are can be high, please consider that although we pack extremely thoughtfully we WILL NOT be held liable for carrier mishandling (incl. but not limited to records - or other heat sensitive items - left on porches/in delivery trucks/on docks, etc). Insurance is the buyer’s responsibility. Media Mail is slow (and thus leaves an item in the delivery process for much longer). Priority Mail - or First Class for light order weights - is always recommended, and can be purchased at time of checking out (payment) on Discogs.

• VAT (Value Added Tax) is now being added to EU, Japan, Australian and other international orders at time of sale. 😩 As we pay PayPal fees on your order total, you're right to assume that we're not happy about this either. Reminder that we are a brick and mortar shop, and local pickup can always be made when visiting to avoid shipping costs.

We are not Amazon. We are a very small store that is open daily. We are *still* recovering from a government-forced closure. Most aspects of the shop (in addition to Discogs) are handled by a single human being at the moment. We are simply not equipped to ship every day. Usually, we ship *ONCE PER WEEK* (based on the orders we receive), after your payment is received. If you need something shipped faster, please contact us to see if we are able to do so *prior* to purchasing. All shipments have tracking numbers through the United States Postal Service (USPS). This is part of the shipping cost that you pay, and is not optional. Your unique tracking number is provided to you through the "Message" portion of your Order page on Discogs once your order has shipped. Once tracking is sent to you, an order is considered to be in "Pre-Shipment". At that time, we have only printed your shipping label and are prepping/packaging your order for shipment. Receiving a tracking number does not mean the order is has shipped or that it is in the Postal System yet. Depending on the time of packing, items can drop same day, but usually next business day. Also note, that sometimes items are packed after hours, or on a Friday, or Saturday, and thus would be dropped one - sometimes two - business days after that. Again, we are a small organization. We are doing all we can with the resources we have. If it's been more than 1-2 business days after you received your tracking number and tracking says "Pre-Shipment" it *usually* means the package just didn't get scanned. Unfortunately, the USPS seems - increasingly - to not be scanning items into the system in a timely matter, or sometimes not even at all, until delivery(??!??) Sometimes, packages take a trip *around* The World (??!??) before making it to you. Obviously, these occurrences are completely out of our control. Still, the USPS is amazing service, and a crazy value, but nevertheless we are sorry it happens. However, we ask that you consider this and try to be understanding.

We grade visually, and conservatively.

We offer a lot of Still Sealed (or "NOS" / "New Old Stock" / "Deadstock") items. Only the "Media" condition portion of Still Sealed items will be "Mint", not the packaging. Only unseen items can be assumed "Mint", and as such cannot be guaranteed. The best packaging can only be "M-", or "NM".

Unclaimed orders, orders returned to us for non-delivery (due to wrong address, missing phone number, etc) are not refunded, rather it is your responsibility to provide an alternate/corrected shipping address, and to pay the new postage. Items held at customs are - obviously - your responsibility to figure out. Furthermore, we cannot be held responsible for postal errors (theft, delivery error, etc). We ship through the United States Postal Service (USPS). Unless negotiated otherwise, buyer pays all associated shipping costs.

Next to poor grading, we are of the strong belief that there's nothing worse than poor packing. We're not into wasting your time; or ours. So, rest assured, all items are packed carefully, and thoughtfully (as indicated by our feedback). We are not interested in making money on shipping, but there is a baseline for time/materials that are required to make sure things get to you safely - our rates conservatively reflect such.

More specifically, non-sealed LPs/45s are removed from their outer sleeves to avoid seam splitting. If there is a custom inner, we put the disc(s) in fresh new inner sleeve(s) to avoid seam splits to the original inner. We use multiple cardboard filler pads on each side of the LP, and alternate the grain of them for extra strength. This all costs, but it's worth it. If you'd like a sealed record to be opened, prior to shipment, please advise us so.

Cassettes/CDs are wrapped in cardboard and then in a fresh (poly outer) bubble mailer. These weather the elements the package may encounter on it's journey to you better.

Recycling is super cool, however ... we only use new mailers. You can re-use them if you like after, but in uncompromised materials are key to getting your items to you safely.

Please don't pay, and THEN hours/days later ask for an item to be double boxed, for extra bubble wrap, or whatever... If you have a special request, let us know by writing us a message associated with the order comments AT THE TIME OF ORDER + PAYMENT, and we will try our best to accommodate you. At that time, we will then assess the situation, and send you a PayPal request to cover the additional time and materials.

All items have tracking, but if you elect not to add insurance, it is at your own risk. Adding insurance can be done two ways:

1) prior to payment (we will edit the Discogs invoice by adding insurance to the shipping cost - to do this you must place your order, but not complete payment until we edit the invoice)

2) at the time of payment (you can request insurance in the order messages and we can send an additional payment request)

All that being said, we WILL NOT be held responsible for damage, or loss, to items during transit.

Once an order is placed, you have four (4) days to complete payment after invoice has been sent. Grading of media (especially Vinyl Records) is not everything when buying, but it's ALMOST everything. To us, people that also collect physical products (as well as sell them), nothing is more frustrating than misgrading, and then having to go back and contact the seller. And unfortunately, Discogs seems, increasingly, to be a marketplace of novice sellers who do not value, understand, or seem to care at all, about grading. So, we've decided to say a few things about condition here, and how we see it.

Since we list more products than humanly possibly to listen to (play grade), please note that we grade 99% of our items *visually*. That being said, our approach is to conservatively grade all products. If you'd like an item play graded, please request us to do so *prior* to placing an order.

CASSETTE TAPES:
All cassette tapes have pressure pads in place when listed, and are checked again at time of shipment. We usually only sell tapes that are visually clean and seem well cared for. Any exceptions to this are graded conservatively. Tapes are not play graded so can only be sold as is. We can only assume that Still Sealed tapes are fully functional - please understand that when purchasing.

CDs/DVDs:
We generally only sell CDs with light signs of use, at worst. On the rare occasion, a CD has more wear we will detail it’s issues in the condition comments.

VINYL RECORDS:
M (Mint):
As per Discogs: "Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played. Should be used sparingly as a grade."
For us, the "Mint" grade is exclusive to Still Sealed Items, and (sometimes) for Unplayed Items that were issued unsealed - usually super indie/boutique labels. Obviously, one can only assume a Still Sealed item to be mint, but in reality nothing in this world is truly mint. No, we do not re-seal anything, Ever. Only flat Still Sealed records are sold. If we think there's a possibility of a dish warp, we usually open it. If you want a Still Sealed record opened prior to shipping, please let us know in the Discogs order details at the time of payment. Although we pack thoughtfully, we will hot be held responsible for seam splits of sealed records.

NM / M- (*NEAR* Mint / Mint Minus):
As per Discogs: "A nearly perfect record (tape, CD, etc). The record should show no obvious signs of wear."
Aside from new items (issued unsealed), NM / M- is the highest grade a non-still sealed item get from us. NM / M- items will possibly be unplayed but definitely have little to no wear!

VG+ (Very Good +):
As per Discogs: "Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it."

VG (Very Good):
As per Discogs: "Noticeable groove wear and light scratches. Surface noise will not overpower the music."
In our opinion, depending on the type of music, your playback equipment, a VG record will be just fine to most buyers. It won't have scratches you can feel - only surface marks.

G+ (Good Plus):
As per Discogs: "Can play without skipping. Significant scratches, surface noise, and groove wear."
A "Good Plus" is no good. It's worn, may have scratches you can feel, but it does play, and probably with a lot of noise. For the most part, we only offer really rare stuff at this grade.

G (Good):
As per Discogs: "Can play without skipping. Significant scratches, surface noise, and groove wear."
