English jazz alto saxophonist and clarinetist, born March 1930 in Livingston, Durham County, England, died February 22, 1971 in Easington, Durham County, England.
Humble worked with Benny Nelson's Band, Teddy Foster (late 1948 - spring 1950), Kathy Stobart's Band, Vic Lewis (March 1951), Raymonde's Orchestra, Jack Parnell (April 1952), Ronnie Scott Band (January 1953 and January 1956), Tony Crombie, Kurt Edelhagen (April 1957), with the Kenny Clarke-Francy Boland Big Band, Gordon Beck's Trio (August 1969) and a quartet co-led with Phil Seamen (1970).
