I played this again after years and just now fully appreciated how great this sounds. As soon as the full band kicked in in the title track my jaw dropped for a few seconds! Uncompressed, dynamic, punchy and rich in detail, with such a huge drum sound! The original CD album always had some distortion in the loudest parts of that track, because of the brickwalled mastering, but that is completely gone here, this got a superb, dedicated vinyl master. Clearly the best sounding version I've heard of one of my favorite songs by Sigur Rós! And then there are also the 3 quite experimental non-album tracks of course, which make for a beautiful EP.- Edited one year ago

I still have my brothers Vinyl of this single. If he ever asks for it back I'll be very upset.
The whole record is great but that side B is just brilliant.
As someone has already said it is a great sounding record, i find it clean no pops or defects well balanced and immersive.

My copy of this is wonderful. It is very dynamic - the loud sections are clear and the quiet sections are air-y and spacious. Please get yourself a copy.- I have the 12" and it sounds great. Not a single crunchy bit anywhere. So happy with it.
