070 Shake – You Can’t Kill Me

i can’t really describe it because i’m still pretty new to vinyl but my pressing sounds pretty bad. not cracks or pops or anything, just her voice and the way the music sounds. i’m so upset as shake is one of my favourite artists ever, and it sounds like everyone else is really happy with what they got. later i’m gonna see if i can buy another copy and pray that it’s better this time, maybe it was something between the factory and my shelf that caused this.

My copy was pretty dirty but after cleaning twice it sounded incredible. Very beautiful soundstage, especially Blue Velvet.

Skin & Bones AND Blue Velvet AND Cocoon all on one side?! Damn 070 Shake is trying to KILL me!

Good packaging, the gatefold is thick and includes a lyric sheet with printed inner sleeves. The only flaw is that they're paper sleeves with no poly lining inside. The records sound good generally, but I have noticeable IGD on all four of my sides. Side D suffers the least due to having the least number of inner grooves, but it's distractingly noticeable in Sides A-C. I have other records with inner grooves that pretty much span right to the label, and I don't get IGDs, so it is highly likely that it's these records.

This is an excellent pressing - no surface noise in my copy, great dynamics which highlight the quiet parts of the album. I love the sound of the guitar riff in Wine and Spirits. One of the best albums I have

I think the person that 1st comment had bad luck and should ask for a replacement because this is a BANGER. One of the best pressings my setup (Technics SL 1500 C, Rotel A11 Tribute) as seen in this genre this year. For an amazing album on top of that. Go for it !
