Flat Pack

Profile:

Flat Pack was Matt Shelton and Chris “Kit” Adamson along with the guesting services on vocals of Katty Heath who warbled for Bent.
The group was formed in 2003, Matt and Kit are co-owners of Sirkus Studio in Nottingham and the band was formed over a cup of tea and a few loose ideas.
The respective backgrounds are as follows:

Matt Shelton:
As one third of amillionsons Matt tasted a small portion of chart success in 2002 with Misti Blu, Pete Tong personally signed the record to London Records and it was the Radio One breakfast show record of the week. Amillionsons are now set to release their debut album “The First One’s Free” received rave reviews in 2005.

Kit Adamson:
Kit is co-owner of highly rated soulful house label “Deft” based in Nottingham. Recording as The Kitster his releases “How to make you mine” got rave reviews and an honourable fan in the shape of Norman Jay (is it OBE or MBE?).

Katty Heath:
Katty currently sang for Bent but guests on a number of other albums including amillionsons and Crazy P.

Flat Pack assembled themselves to do a cover version Sweet Child of mine that got released on a slightly off centre but highly sort after 7” that got play from Eddy Temple Morris at XFM before being made tune of the month on Radio Ones Blue Room by Rob Da Bank. It was then signed to Breastfed and was remixed by Mylo, mogwai toca disco and linus loves for a 2005 club hit. The video shot in Iceland was an MTV dance feature, gold jumpsuits anyone?
