Reviews
- "musical freedom" by paul simpson and adeva is possibly the sample source for the vocal in "all be 3"
- "Rising Son" is one of the best tracks 4 Hero ever released! Right up until they totally embraced Jungle/Drum n Bass, their releases were highly individualistic, almost psychedelic! Their "Head Hunter" 12", with "Make Yah See Spiders On The Wall" was the last one that really epitomised their early style.
- Edited 11 years agoMr Kirk's Nightmare Vs Rising Son? Two of their very early releases. The latter is criminally underrated imho.
Which one wins? Rising Son, hands down :) - Edited 19 years ago'Rising Sun' single is one of the 4 Hero's first works, from may 1990. The main track, 'Rising Sun', brings a simbiosis of hip hop influenced breakbeats, MC participation, nasty guitars and Inner City synth timbres. According to the specialists, it's the very beginning of the hardcore movement together with the Shut Up & Dance productions.
