- Take Your Soul is the best of the lot on this, quite creepy track with the 'let the music take your soul' and the whispering 'welcome to the underground'. Anyone know where them samples come from?
- Sweet record, excellent for warming up the floor or just closing a long night. Even so, Shoombadooba is in another kind of level and valuate. The hole production condenses diverse sound allowed for excellent breaks, transitions that keeps the groove in all tracks. It is my first real critic in this page haha
- Edited 3 years agoI'm amazed no one has left a review of this record, one of my favourite US techno 12"s from the early 90's! "Mellow Bug" is slow and cool, "Da Base" has a top hip hop vibe, but "Shoombadooba" is the one here, we used to play this one to death back in the day! Atmosphere is a great label, and this 12" is one of their finest releases. Recommended to anyone who loves the more unusual and quirky examples of the US underground! If you love the weird side of early Teknotica then you'll like this one.
