brilliant music, but unless you are a die hard collector DON'T ! the recording is truly awful, appalling sound quality and bad mastering etc..I agree with previous review, it is unbearable to listen too, how some one could engineer this like this and release this ?? could have been much much better, even as a giveway it is not acceptable audio. Way overpriced

Having listened to the tracks carefully the 'odd' crowd noise almost makes this CD unlistenable, sound quality is atrocious! It does indeed appear to be an overlaid track to the music recording so whether you want to pay the extremely high asking prices for what would simply be for sake of saying you own this release is a careful decision you need to make!

I can back up the comment below...I was at this gig, 'pas terrible!', which is a bit like saying "not bad meaning good but bad meaning...pretty shite!" The place was massive, there wasn't enough of a sound rig to deal with the size of the hall, and there weren't that many people...I'd say a maximum of 1000. So the massive whistle blowing crowd sound in the background is a definite fake.

A few copies of this were also given away by UK music magazine SELECT in a postal competition.

There is a strange story behind this CD. Although according to the sleeve notes it was recorded live, apparently the guys actually forgot to record the gig, so concocted the tracks you hear on this CD from the sequences they had, adding a crowd noise loop (and possibly some form of degradation since the sound on this is rather odd.)

Don't know if this is true but it came from a reliable source close to the band a long time ago.
