Members of Mayday's Rave Olympia is one of the best Mayday anthems ever. Its starting tunes sound more like Gladiators entering a Roman fighting arena. But shortly after that you will hear the fantastic deep voice saying "Enter the arena". Now this track starts kicking at nearly 160 bpm - you can almost feel the energy of the early ninties. The tracks builds nicely and always plays around with the horn (or fanfar) sample from the beginning. It is just a great 5 of 5 stars trip into a time where techno was fast and full of energy.
But then you turn the record and see there is a track called Endspurt (meaning final spurt or finish spurt). It starts rather strange but give it a minute. When the clapps come in you will get an idea of what is to come. Then there comes this massive line (I can really say what it is) accompanied by a great happy melody. You don't want this track to stop, it should be running for hours at its 160 bpm. To my mind this is the best track Members of Mayday ever produced. It is a hidden jewel also worth 5 (or even 6) of 5 stars.
