This is one of the most interesting works of Mark Archer & Chris Peat, specially because it was done before Altern 8. Through Nexus 21, they synthesized the musical characteristics of Sheffield's bleep techno, the classics from the pioneer artists of Detroit, the techno-rave and the ones from the forefront english band 808 State. This EP brings the elegant and atmospheric bleep techno of ‘Together’, considered a more elaborated tune than the common dancefloor. With the same kind of composition and stronger basslines, ‘Self Hypnosis’ points us to the idea of musical personal hypnosis through the different elements of techno; and 'Real Love' borrowed the same bassline of Mayday's 'Wiggin' track, but with a different climax. The single is pretty hard to find in general, and was one of their first releases by Network.
