Reviews
- Edited 12 years agoYes, I agree with the first review completely, but to add something more. Larry Heard reworked the original voice of Robert Owens somehow it has become a much more powerfull song than the original "Deep Down". Together with the cool old school beats and synths, it's a killer song that reminds of the classic Fingers Inc. stuff. I'm so glad this kind of music is still being made. Thank you for bringing the best of 3 legends together.
- Edited 11 years agoLarry Heard, you're killing me man. There's just something magic about this beat. In a way, its been done before, but its just so infectious and perfectly built. Every element, the old school lead synth, the piano stabs, the percussions, the whole arrangement makes me smile uncontrollably. I want to go to the nearest club and rip dance circles. I love this guy's music. A++ for some timeless beats from another world. WOW. The kick has so much well-tuned punch. The bassline rolls way down below the kick drum. The kick and the bass work together here...deep down inside.
