- Sounds great! Purchased at their show in Chicago this past weekend. 30 bucks but the money goes right to the artist so I was more than happy to pay the price to complete their discography on vinyl!
- Sadly my copy has fair amount of surface noise, this is pretty consistent through out both Side A and B.

Should technically have an average rating of 4.20. You know it.referencing Unknown Mortal Orchestra (LP, Album) FP1250-1
If you're wondering about the photo on the cover, that's a Yugoslav "monument to the uprising of the people of Kordun and Banija" in
Petrova Gora, Croatia. It's a work of Vojin Bakić from 1981. More info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monument_to_the_uprising_of_the_people_of_Kordun_and_Banija- Edited 6 years agoAlthough the dynamics are fairly good for this pressing, I noticed that my copy had a concerning amount of pops throughout the first track, and the problem sadly persists throughout the rest of the record. Has anybody had the same quality issue?

so bad compared to their other two albums. Like a different band. album 2 is a drop dead masterpiece. This is not.referencing Unknown Mortal Orchestra (LP, Album) FP1250-1
the music is good but the recording and mastering I find really really annoying. i get that they were after a 'lo-fi' nonchalant garage vibe but actually its becomes just a gimmick after a while. shit if this was recorded properly with a good clean mastering it would be superb, but everytime I hear this now I just get frustrated with what could have been. it's a shame some artists let style over-rule content.referencing Unknown Mortal Orchestra (LP, Album) FP1250-1
I consider this an essential release for anyone who is a fan of faded psychedelic rock. This album has very catchy vocal melodies and strong guitar work. The grooving, hip hop-inspired drum beats keep it from feeling dated. And what a great album cover!
