Hmmmm... There is more to this LP back then and now. Jack Factory Shoom is a belter. The reggae drum roll (is it one of Augustus Pablo tracks?) slams into some crazy abstract stuff! Track samples Phuture Pfantasy Club* - Slam .. Those rolling thundering beats are incredible. Weird sounds all the way! Sounds a lot like Radioactive Lamb/2 Kilos? in the mad production style! The Acid Tinged Orchestra Fried Ice Cream is another totally abstract sound. Like Psychedelic meets Industrial meets Acid House in a derelict building one night! Pink (3) Fortune (Exclusive Re-edit) is a great wild card thrown in. Totally New Wave from only a short time back. Dimension (9) Fantasy (Exclusive Groove Lab Remix) is poppy house with a new beat edge. Honey Acid Test has the squelchy liquid acid sound. New Egypt Laser Dance is a great track too! In fact, all the tracks are great in their own individual way. A great comp and very underrated! P.s. as for the Todd Terry sample. Todd Terry sampled a lot of beats himself. Check his early Hip Hop production Kaos- Court's In Session/Crank Up The Bass https://www.discogs.com/Kaos-Courts-In-Session/master/197045 ;)

Not the best compilation from Warrior records. We are spared the usual sample acid that was so prevalent on UK Acid recordings of the time. Only the Caucasian Kid track relies on samples of Bang The Party for all its melody.

The other tracks either go nowhere or are more minimal than you would expect. The Jack Factory and The Acid Tinged Orchestra tracks are especially guilty of this.

The best track on here is Fortune By Pink, which has an echoed out female vocal over a non linear house beat. It stands head and shoulders over the other tracks and doesn't sound like an 80's house track.
