Awesome release. Perfectly made. This mastering just blow your mind

This pressing is a total great surprise to me. Wasn't aware of this album or had focused on the group previously. It was recommended to me in Irvine, CA.
I picked it up and wow am I happy I did. Warm, encompassing yet clear and distinct.
An awesome listen and very cool liner notes inside.. Touchdown

Idiosyncratic mellow pleasant 60s jangle country/folk/blues/rock w/ a dark psych undercurrent.
There's actually a lot going on here & not a clunker in the bunch.
A perfect album for a beautiful sunny summer day & an overlooked late 60s gem.

Incredible sounding pressing. Haven’t heard an original but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the best sounding of them all.

Fantastic, terribly overlooked, album. Not just the two singles everyone mentions. Folk/rock yes, but surprisingly abundant jazz elements are in the mix here too. Competently done I must say.
Lesson learned, Ive passed this album up numerous times, thrift stores, garage sales etc. 'The Youngbloods', sure I know them, the one big single 'Get Together', beyond that?
More proof Rolling Stone magazine had morons on staff making reviews.

Some very nice psychedelic folk rock, a little bit jazzy. Nice bluesy Rhodes piano and some vibraphone too.
Three stars.

Contains their best song "Darkness, Darkness". A terrific, haunting psych song.

Every time I listen to "Rain Song" I have the idea that the vocals, partially sung as a duet, is supported by Janis Joplin although she's not credited. Does anybody agree or has further information?
