American folk/bluegrass musician and songwriter. Originally from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Cook was a member of many early Justin Vernon projects including Mount Vernon and DeYarmond Edison. Based in Durham, NC since 2005, Cook cofounded the band Megafaun and has been active in the North Carolina music scene as a solo artist, session musician, and regular member of Hiss Golden Messenger.
