French jazz trumpeter, born April 29, 1908 in Paris, died January 14, 1994.
Recorded with Ray Ventura in 1929 and played with dance bands in London in the first half of the 1930s; later in Paris played with Django Reinhart 1937, Alix Combelle 1938 and 1937-1940 recorded as a leader. Between 1941 and 1944 worked in Switzerland with Teddy Stauffer and others; later mostly with own bands.
