- For those willing to buy the CD version of this maxi aiming for the optimal sound quality, please beware that the version released under ZYX Records is made out of dirty vinyl rips. Therefore, if you want to acquire a CD maxi of this release containing the genuine digital masters, you'd better go for the version released under the Raw Bass label.

one of the best early "classical" house tracks from the 90's. this can't be missed in your classical collection. puts a smile every time.referencing La Serenissima (12", 45 RPM) ZYX 6385-12
The melody played by the Side A, is a cover of a classical theme extracted from the public domain. The same theme was also used by a similar cover called ‘La Serenissima‘, by Rondo Veneziano (source : printed innersleeve of the Rondo release).
From the user Master-X, the correct italian for the ‘psaum’ (or something...) printed on the rear of sleeve, should be :
‘E Dio disse "Lascia che ci sia luce"
E luce ci fu
E da questa luce Dio creo luce sulla
terra, e all'Uomo fu dato il potere su
tutte le cose in questa terra
E la forza di scegliere tra il bene e il male.’referencing La Serenissima (12", 45 RPM) ZYX 6385-12
thanks a lot, maxi-freak for this long awaited submission ! probably the first one ZYX Records 12” pressing before a ’second one’, at the same time of an additional 7” release, and a ’third last one’ pressed by Sonopress, with some additionals bassclef embossed near b-side hole center and stamps on runout grooves. best, dub_e_72 😇- Edited 8 years ago

A average track that samples a classic, from Rondo Veneziano - La Serenissima!
Which, also was the theme music to the 1980's English Television series "Hospital Watch"! referencing La Serenissima (12", 45 RPM) 12 R BASS 006
I just re-invested in 12 inch Vinyl - epic quality, looks and plays like new.
This is a truly awesome track.referencing La Serenissima (12", 45 RPM) 12 R BASS 006
The Razormaid! remix of La Serenissima is one of the truly standout House anthems of the early 90's; a picture in time of music that moved. Tangible, thick and beautiful.referencing La Serenissima (12", 45 RPM) 12 R BASS 006
Considering its age, this remains to be one of the greatest house anthems of all time. Doesn't stay still for a minute, totally capturing the listener in a dream-like state. Well, it works for me.
