Great pressing. I wish I had the 180 gram black vinyl version though.

Worth it for just the poster.

Anyone know if this version is better than the colored re-issues?

Ripping off Knight Rider as a solo (the greatest moment on the record in The Speed of Darkness but where's the credits at?) ... and the Morbid Angel intro at the last song...says something about TC as a band...flirting with all that have already passed...
First record was promising. But that was mid 90s when not much was going on. 1998/99 came a new wave of metal again.
But at least now I heard them all, 95 to 04, but trading up for something better...Thrash gods they are not but good on the Slatanic Slaughter/Slayer tribute...I rather have really bad untuned bands than middle of the road thrash bands. More fun...

Or maybe it's just because I had Lock Up (with Tomas L on vocals) in the CD player before this one and really could tell the difference between the masters and the followers.
Lyricwise also. Very grown up lyrics about mankind and this planet in LU in TC not so much...

Just like many prefer Lennon's songs in Beatles I prefer Tervonen in this band.
Bass player MOs efforts is well... if I wanna hear a faster Motorhead I rather play them on 78 rpm! Or Entombed's rock period on 45...
(Oh wait, I don't need to, we already have seen Venom do that...going, going, gone...
The name Venom can be seen BTW in the booklet remade as The Crown, coincidence, I think not...)
Scaring people with the fantasy land called Hell? Ha! all bands have tried that...Hell is the wasteplace of Valhalla...nothing more, nothing less...

Great drummer in JS & great solos of MS on the plus side.
Singer and bass and lyrics on the minus side (in all of their back catalogue).

Or maybe it is because these are the native bands that I avoid (then and now) but gave them a shot...and got all the CDs...back in the day I had Emperor and Lamb of God and Pantera and Fear Factory and Machine Head and Terrorizer and Napalm Death as a backdrop just beacuse I'd heard all thrash bands already since mid 80s. It's in my blood forever. And everything new will always be compared to that. From USA and STHLM Sweden, Gothenburg scene came too late for me...

With that said I still got 2010 to 2020 to "look forward to" with this band...can't be worse than what Leif Edling have done with his solo-Candlemass experiments without the great Messiah they never will be C. At least these guys are almost original line-up. But just like Lamb of God now they do not have their tight drummer which always is the best thing with a good band. (I know cause I was one of the best in Sweden...ask anyone who knew me back then). Just as important as a good goalie in NHL.
