How can vespers not be one of THE most valuable tunes on discogs??? One the most beautiful and emotive pieces of millennial electronica out there. Essential, and at these prices buy every copy you can.referencing Mauver (CD, EP) SKA 015
MAUVER sees Bola moving into slightly more industrial hip-hop territory, though not without his unique melodic sense. The title track, for instance, includes a rap which adds a certain grittiness, while "Para Qweqway" grinds a little more slowly, but with a deep subsonic bass. "Syblex" hews closer to more 'traditional' Bola, but the standout track here is "Vespers," which manages to be deep and strongly emotive -- Bola's stock-and-trade, if you will. It's a lovely, slow prayer, one that draws a sonic veil across your mind. Marvelous.
