It seems I have a different copy to all of these. Mine is signed by DM, it was given to a friend by him who played with him when he came over around 88. The track listing reads as follows...
A1) Sinister / 1st Mix
A2) Sinister / Undisputed Mix
B1) Wiggin / Mater Reese Mix
B2) Freestyle / Bongo Mix
Tracks that have actually been pressed...
A1) Sinister / 1st Mix
A2) Wiggin / Original
B1) Wiggin / Master Reese Mix
B2) Freestyle / Bongo Mix - Edited 2 years ago

Yes!! I've only gone and found a copy (many thanks, Jason, for the very reasonable price - you da man!) of this much sought after and elusive Mayday 12" after 31 years of trying!!
The four mixes on this 12" are not as good as the released versions, so I can understand why Derrick May decided to go with the other mixes. referencing Sinister (12", 45 RPM, Mispress) PC001
So just to make it clear, where can someone find the 'Sinister' track ? Am I right in thinking that this is the track that was mistakenly left off the 12" ?- There is so much crap kicking around abut this release. I have the original miss press and I have a nailed on copy of this from 1988 via JJ Frosts personal collection when he was going as DJ Underworld. I guess this does has have to be called a repress as it was issued to correct the mess of the miss press. I am not aware of any later dark purple pressings being released.
If you have a copy, treasure it, great release and joy to own. - I have this from the day it was released my vinyl shows the purple as well when it is held up to the light

Below is an interview with Derrick May in September 1997 about the record:
MAYDAY – SINISTER (PHEERCE CITI)
“Aargh! Nightmare! Kevin didn’t know what the f*u@k he was doing back in those days. Pheerce citi was Kevin’s Label. But he didn’t know how to run a record label; he could tie his shoes better than run a record label back then. He is my friend and I love him. But because of Kevin not paying attention, this record has the same songs on both sides. As you can see on the label there were two mixes of Sinister on the other side. Nobody has heard those mixes! They made a mistake and mastered the same two songs on the goddamn thing! So this was a funny 12 – inch. But it was Wiggin’ that turned out to be the big song. I always thought that Sinister was more important, but nobody ever heard it.
Back in those days we were making music in my house or Kevin’s house, on a little eight - track recorder. We would make records in a day. We would arrive in Kevin’s house at 10 o’clock at night, eat euh… truly, truly, this is the truth, Domino’s Pizza at his place. Now Domino’s Pizza comes from Detroit originally. Their headquarters are in Detroit. We grew up on Domino’s; we were the guinea pigs for Domino’s new recipes. So we used to eat Domino’s Pizza and make these f*cking records in the night, do you know what I mean? And this is one of those records.”
Why not package it in a pizza box then?
“Ha ha ha. We didn’t have any money, man! But you know what? I used to have so much desire to put more records out, but never felt comfortable, putting a lot of records out. I was really uncomfortable with this one. When I saw they had messed it up, I had Kevin pull it. So he pulled it and stopped selling it. I think he only sold about 2,000 copies.” referencing Sinister (12", 45 RPM, Mispress) PC001
