This release may have been somewhat innovative in 2002 as Classic Goa Trance began to slowly fade away, [Sadly] but sadly for PsyTrance, nothing much has changed in 20 years since and so these earlier Psy sounds are now the foundational status quo sounds and vibes that have followed PsyTrance to this day. Who could have ever thought that PsyTrance would hit it's high point within 5 years of it's inception in or around 96-97......a high that has never eclipsed the creativity and diversity of the Golden years of Classic Goa Trance. Just my opinion folks. If you never made it to Anjuna beach and experienced authentic Goa Trance parties in the early and mid 90's, you wouldn't understand. If you are into the Classic Goa Trance sound, then track 8 is as close as you will get on this release and this track, FEEL..S. D. stands out only because it carries forward a bit of the Classic Goa Trance sound especially at the break at 5 minutes.

I used to be really into Psytrance but not so much anymore but this album is absolutely amazing! Definitely Astrix’s best album, I love how simple yet effective his sound is on this album. It never gets too complicated but has a relentless and strong flow from start to finish. 10/10

I think this an outstanding album. And I beg to differ from the widespread criticism of Astrix, that he is not an innovative artist. Astrix' trademark - leaving out flawless production and killer bass lines - is by far his use of breaks. He is the true master at those and I see no one even close to his timing and use of breaks. Breaks may not be a new gem but to me he has taken them to higher levels. Somehow his breaks manage to be all a break should be without ever getting cheesy.

Listen to FeeL.S.D. and check out the breaks at 5:01 and 5:15. If that is not the works of shere genius and ready to get the floor pumpin', I don't know what is!

For that alone this album is worth every penny. 5/5

This is a very well made and interesting psy-trance album. It is mostly pretty laid-back and melodic for psy-trance - something that would probably be described as "morning trance" by many, although I'm not too keen on these kind of categorizations.

Well anyway, I enjoyed every moment of listening to this album. Most, if not all, of the tracks have a nice build towards the end, and they all deliver. Make no mistake though; this isn't anything revolutionary, or something that hasn't been heard ever before. However, this is an album that has everything done right. If you are a fan of this genre and prefer melodic and not too harsh kind of trance, you're sure to like this one too.
