- A fantastic slice of vocal house right here.
The original combines a very groovy beat - perhaps best described as 'house-nearing-on-breaks', with electro touches and a rocky sound from both the guitar and Juliet's voice. Very very energetic.
Both remixes go for straight for a building dirty house sound with low sweeping electro basslines - Jacques Lu Cont places it on top of some really cool military drum-roll beats, while the Low End Specialists delve into some driving electro with busy percussion and suggestive vocal rearrangements. Although Lu Cont's effort is the standout, I have to say I prefer the Specialists' mix that bit more.
A combination of a strong original, excellent remixes and nicely edited radio mixes makes this one of my favourite maxi's in my collection - and certainly one of the strongest.
