- This vinyl edition is still available from monotremerecords.limitedrun.com for 13£, avoid discogs capitalist sellers :)
- Re-listening to this for the first time in a while and wow. Even on my worn out DJ cartridge this pressing sounds unbelievable. They really did a fantastic job with this one.
- The download is no longer available...how crap is that after 2 months? Is anyone willing to share there d/l ?
- I've got a coloured reissue of the vinyl. I don't know if it's limited (I just know it's beautiful :D). Hope to see a release on this site.

The day this album is released on vinyl is the day my life becomes complete.referencing The Fall Of Math (CD, Album) MONO-08
Does anyone know where the voice sample in 'Fix the sky a little' comes from? 65dos won't tell it because it could bring them into trouble with copyright and stuff.- Edited 19 years ago

This release is exciting on so many levels. 65daysofstatic certainly aren't the first band to feature electronic and rock elements, but the way they combine the two is truly unique. Glitched up beats interact with their live drummer, synths gurgle behind harsh guitars, and everything mixes together to create something really special. What's more, 65daysofstatic rarely resort to the traditional drawn out crescendo that permeates much of Post Rock. No, they make...POP! Granted they’re not likely to be tearing up Top Of The Pops any time soon (although wouldn't that be awesome?), but these are short songs that are immediate and have hooks aplenty.
If I had a complaint, it is that the balance between rock and electronics is not as even as I'd like it to be. Tracks like 'This Cat Is A Landmine' show their true capability of letting the two elements work together, whereas a few other songs are not as convincing. To be fair, that's pretty good going for a debut (their first EP was little more than a self-released demo, albeit a very decent one). But like I said, exciting stuff!
