- "Etherlands" is more polished in sound than previous Spyra's albums and thus makes an ear-pleasing listen. The music is basically old-school melodic spacey ambient with fresh nuances, live-sounding beats (sometimes being innovative) and speech samples. My favourites are "The Synthesizer Experience", "Monotonous Stereo Part I" and "Birds on the Wire". One would not expect something really new here, especially if you are familiar with other Spyra's works. But if you are lucky to grab this one, you will most likely not be disappointed. A fine example of new Berlin Electronic School.
- This is truly one of the sweetest sounding albums I own. Absolutely lush sounds and if you come across this release, just listen to how beautiful "BIRDS ON THE WIRE" is..... Do not miss out on this album.
