Notes
Three different studio recordings of "Streets Of London" by Ralph McTell have been released as singles in varying territories - and partly re-released on various occasions. Confusingly, it happened that all three versions got a (re-)release at the same time (so in Germany in 1975). As these are totally different recordings, they belong to different master releases.
The first version was from the 1970 Transatlantic-compilation "Revisited" and got its first single-release in 1970 or 1971 in France and Germany. For this recording see Ralph McTell - Streets Of London
The second version was from the US-version of the 1971 Paramount/Famous-album "You Well-Meaning Brought Me Here" and got its first single-release in 1971 or 1972 in Germany and the Netherlands (where it charted at No. 9). That's the recording of this master release.
The third version was first released in 1974 as a Reprise-single, went to No. 1 on the UK-charts and was included in the 1975 WB-album "Streets". For this recording see Ralph McTell - Streets Of London.
