      How many here have a copy that plays 45 on A & B and 33 on C & D (label still says 45rpm).
      • A M*********G great record played @ Belgian rave in 94 95

For sure these tracks weren't produced in the period 1989-1991. It's fake. I believe they were produced 1993/1994.

I agree with Kompressorkanonen's review.. There's no way these tracks were made in 1989-91.. If you listen to Beltram's stuff of this era, its way deeper and dare I say, more thoughtfully produced and no way as Bashing. Plus there just wasn't music like this being made at this time..
I'd say it was probably made the same year it came out. It's like Lennie De Ice claiming he made "We are ie" in 1989... Tall stories.. :)

This record appears entirely on CD on 'The Big Apple Bites Back - The Core Of New York DJ's' (Mirakkle Records - 1998) ...

How they came up with the title for this thing is a bit of a mystery: None of the tracks had been released anywhere else before (with the exception of "Fuzz" which appeared on the "Lost Entity" EP on Permanent, also in 94). And I don't believe for one second that they were recorded in 89-91 either; this is "Caliber"-era tracky techno through and through, and the production techniques make any connection to the late 80's implausible to say the least. But it's on Trax after all, so they probably just made it up.

It doesn't matter though, 'cause it's a great record. Some of the tracks are a little too basic to be interesting, but the best ones - "Fuzz", "The Start It Up", "Flash Cube" - are lethal dancefloor weapons. Call yourself a technohead? Then it belongs in your collection, THE END.

(Please note you should probably head straight for the reissue - the first original I bought is so off-center on one side it's patently ridiculous, and my spare copy has that lovely fireplace crackle all over it. Oh, Trax, you have so much to answer for...)
