LTJ Bukem – Suspended Space EP

This beautifully made and superbly pressed double 12"-single pack (did I mention HIGH QUALITY vinyl?) features the ultimate, INSTRUMENTAL adaption of the epic “Sunrain".

Although Elliot did a really nice job providing the vocals for the album version, which FYI can be found on LTJ Bukem - Journey Inwards LP, I always felt that LTJ Bukem’s exquisite production did not need any extra singing actually. Here again, less is so much more. The instrumental of “Sunrain” is considered a true Downtempo / Future Jazz classic nowadays ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏆🥇.

☝️ On another note: It somewhat saddens me to see the lack of recognition this master producer and formidable DJ still receives today. I mean we are talking about a man who defined a whole entire music genre almost on his own in the 1990s - Drum n Bass without LTJ Bukem? Unthinkable!

In addition, let us not forget that LTJ Bukem really took care of us vinyl enthusiasts at a time when it was slim pickings for us, because many record labels neglected this medium in favour of CDs. Just take a look at his vast, gorgeous Good Looking Records catalog and be amazed - even more so from a today’s perspective.

It’s about time to (re-)discover LTJ Bukem’s grandiose repertoire of wonderful, atmospheric Drum n Bass marvels - There are so many to choose from 😊👍.
