Fairport Convention – Full House

The level of melody and musical precision on this album is elite. The way they’ve made the complexity/experimentation so palatable and tuneful is Beatlish. It sounds like something the Beatles would’ve made in 66-68. It’s that good. Extremely underrated.

There is also another Festival Australia release. Palm tree Island label with pink circular borders L-33,932. Runout Side 1 ILPS 9130 A-5U then a crooked 7 then SMX 35729

I wonder if the overprint (in black) completely obscures the original track listing (including 'Poor Will & the Jolly Hangman') on the sleeve? I can't tell from the photos.

One of my favorite bands....do not buy this trash reissue!! Sounds like cardboard.

Great pressing, flat, quiet, full of bass and clarity, it Breaths! Get this pressing if you want have it, cheaper than an Uk.

The A&M re-issue has the correct label information, compared to the Island original release, where the durations have been reversed on the label.

Anyone know the exact release date for this? Some time in July '70 I believe

My CD with the same catalogue number and Barcode has different CD artwork; the CD label is mostly black and has the "Hannibal Records" label instead of Carthage. My copy also comes with a 4 page booklet.
