Hello. What does the symbol on the disc mean? :)referencing Evolution (2×LP, Album, 180g) VAN2050
My copy came signed by Paul van Dyk in silver ink. Looks bad ass. I’m not sure how many more of these are actually floating around out there. Glad I was lucky enough to be one of the recipients.🎰- Edited 10 years ago

This is the less interesting Album by PVD, some musics are very commercial, also PVD style can hardly be detected here, at a first listening it can be mistaken for another trance artist. Also its disappointing that the whole album follows always a happy mood, while previous albums had always melancholic, sad and emotional musics. "The Ocean" is my favorite music in this Album, it sounds very much PVD sound and has a touching melancholic and romantic tune. Also "We come together" is a strong music. hopefully Paul Van Dyk will bring us a better album next time. referencing Evolution (CD, Album, Digipak) VAN2050
Previous album of PVD (In Between) was a piece of beauty. I was worried what will come next... But this album surprised me. Comparing to last albums of many trance artists, like Tiesto, where the featured vocalists do the whole job, this album contains great music, and comparably great vocals, great songs which will stay in your head, like Lost In Berlin or Heart Stops Beating. I don't understand people talking it is a bad thing that PVD changed the musical style, and that they don't like his music anymore. Who cares about the style? The result - the songs - are important. If an artist keeps on doing songs in the same style, he gets stuck and ends like Moby, doing the same stupid music over and over. This album is worth appreciation.
