Bob Geldof's fourth album is an about face musically. This is dark and depressing. Somber and languid (for the most part). I don't think it's more than three stars. There are some good songs on here like "One for Me", "$6,000,000 Loser", "Pale White Girls", "Scream in Vain", "Inside Your Head", but the other tracks, especially "The New Routine", "Mudslide", "Mind in Pocket" are forgettable, with "My Birthday Suit" and "10:15" being all right. This album is somewhere in the three to three and a half star range at the most.
