I personally liked this album on streaming. It doesn't totally compete with Flashmob with the albums getting more and more mainstream, but it is still Vitalic.
The major drawback of this record is that it is overly compressed, which is not suitable for a vinyl release and makes it really bad sounding. This is not the audio quality I'm looking for when buying a vinyl release. referencing Rave Age (2×LP, Album) DIFF250DLP
Very disappointing, essentially because of the vocals from my point of view...referencing Rave Age (2×LP, Album) DIFF250DLP
if you're undecided, the wax is definitely worth the money. a very well-pressed record.- Edited 11 years ago

I must admit this is exactly what I expected.
Madder and harder sounds and more energetic than before. Something to do with Rave indeed.
Concerning the hardest tracks, they sound a little like Boys Noize's "Oi Oi Oi", Prodigy's "Invaders Must Die", and even Mr Oizo's "Lambs Anger" with an Oldschool touch added.
More lyrics too, with Electro-Pop ("Under Your Sun"), a touch of Hip Hop ("La Mort Sur Le Dancefloor"), though Disco is still around. The vocals are more natural than on the first two albums, I mean with less effects used. It actually seems that Vitalic wanted to give more power to the sounds and more depth to the vocals. His 80's signature is still there though, of course.
Attempts in Downtempo and Ambient too... Pretty strange release, yes.
Actually, I think Vitalic should have chosen another alias to release this album, as all this does not correspond to what he's done so far, and I would understand that many of his fans may be disappointed from this third album.
