This is pure inner-space music and its partially electronic and partially acoustic but neither cold or conservatory variety.
Stearns utilizes the Moog(I'm guessing a Mini) to create this beautiful ephemeral deep drone augmented by phased strings environmental sounds all processed to created an audio journey into the quiet contemplative areas modern music is devoid of....a classic in the genre of electronic music.

Just incredible...What so many Electronica records try and aim for and end up failing miserably. This truly takes you deep into "outerspace" (or "innerspace", depending on ones perspective). I will definitely be searching out his other releases as well as other New Age gems I've likely missed...Open your mind and take a trip!
