Oh happy day! The mix of the She's Lost Control 12" is the one I've been seeking on CD forever. I believe it is a the US (North America) only mix (I bought mine in Canada back when it was released) - it definitely differs from the one that appears on all other CD appearances which I believe would be the UK or European 12" mix. Many may not even know that the US mix is different but this one to me is much more fluent - the UK one has certain elements that fade in and out seemingly randomly (maybe this was done to emulate the subject matter?) in a way that, in my opinion, needlessly disrupts the trance-like flow that makes this 2nd version much more compelling. Seek it out and judge for yourself.

In addition to rare to CD version of The Happy Mondays Loose fit and naturally '24 hour party people' it is in fact true to my belief that ALL THREE Happy Mondays tracks are rare to CD. The version of Hallelujah clocks in at just 5:39 (iTunes check on original CD). This Club mix clocks in everywhere else at 6:28.

Loose fit is shorter than any version i've found on any CD at this point i'm doing a Happy Mondays A-Z songs including all mixes and where featured. Possibly the original 7" version which i think had a CD single. Still it's a rarity on CD for sure not the album version, the extended version or the version featured on any of The Happy Mondays compilations such as Double easy, Loads, Greatest hits, The Platinum collection or Double double good!

Please, please, please put this out on vinyl! The best compilation out there, featuring some of the best post-punk from the UK.
