Great album with great interpretations of old folk songs. The vinyl is heavy and flat. The sound sometimes comes across a bit „muddy“. A few clicks and cracks.

Excellent edition, clear and transparent sound, nice sound stage, stereo imagery perfect. And a fine pressing too. Highly recommended.

I didn't realise until after bought this album that, one of the members of Pentangle is Bert Jansch, who is this amazing guitar player that sounds a bit like Jack Johnson. For a long time I thought Folk music was for weird hippies, but the more I hear more of it, the more I like it. Basket Of Light is a great little album, it's quite upbeat and mixes Blues and Jazz into the blend. Pentangle are band that I'm going to have investigate more, as I really enjoyed this album.

Lmao at the person trying to sell this for 75 dollars. If there weren't a ton of these on sale for less than 10 bucks it would be upsetting, but it's actually just funny.

This is a great starting point for those interested in "psychedelic" folk. I just think they're exceptional musicians, with a magnificent vocalist. The psychedelia is all in your head ;-P
