Reviews
- Maybe just me, but I don't put the pops & clicks down to a bad pressing, especially given the horrible 'gritty' sound the LPs made as I took them out of the inner sleeves. Mine have gone straight into protective inners. The initial damage is already done, of course, but at least it shouldn't get any worse now. My LP 2 of Vol 1 is particularly bad.
- I love vinyl, but sometimes soundtracks such as this are MUCH better suited to the cd format. So if you are not happy with the quality of the vinyl pressings these days (lots are mediocre), stick with a lovely sounding, quiet, distortion/noise-free CD!
- Besides some pops/clicks and the occasional "woosh" sounds an interesting soundtrack for the fan of the series.
Soundtracks these days are big business since more people started to collect them.
If only the quality of the pressings were on par with the quality of the series.
My results of all 4 albums:
Vol 1-S1=Pops and ticks during and in between songs
Vol 1-S2=slightly better than side 1
Vol 1-S3=slightly better than side 1
Vol 1-S4=very strange no problems and noise
Vol 2-S1=Not bad....just a few minor hickups
Vol 2-S2=Excellent
Vol 2-S3=In between song noise and a few minor clicks/pops overall
Vol 2-S4=A few minor clicks/pops overall
I've pre-ordered the season 3 soundtrack.....I really hope they stepped up the quality of that release.
We will find out :-) - This is a nice collector Item, everything was well produced and looks nice but from a music listener point of view I'm disapointed.
If you are into the music and not into collecting stuff, buy another pressing as this is pressed very bad. On my record one the first two tracks ("Stranger Things" / "Kids") are ruined by very loud clicks throughout the whole songs. - Edited 6 years agoAbomination....awfull Pressing...don't buy...i don't understand hoe is possible to sell this pressing??? Return direct to Amazon...Invada record make always bad pressing....what a shame....
Return all your box to invada or to your seller...this is not acceptable... - My copy had terrible clicks and pops and surface noise on most tracks, Invada records asked me to send an AUDIO RECORDING of noises clicks and pops in orderd to return it.....
- Anyone else bought this set and could comment on the sound quality? I bought the aquamarine splatter volume one and the clear frosted volume 2 (2 copies) from Invada and they were terrible pressings to the point where I am amazed at some of the reviews left for these versions on Discogs saying how good they are. They were noisy, clicky, covered in non-fill and scratches. I would love to buy this set but if the sound quality is awful then what's the point? I'm all up for coloured pressings but if the plant can't get it right just do them on black vinyl I say!
- Can anyone advise what the sounds quality is like? I have a first Invada pressing of volume 1 and a first Lakeshore pressing of volume 2 and both are terrible pressings, I'd love to find a clean pressing of them so I am hoping they might have got it right this time....
