In reply to the reviewer below. Digital Vamp sampled part of the stab or at least the same sound on their Radio Version from Brooklyn Funk Essentials - Change The Track which came out the previous year. I believe the Brooklyn Funk Essentials also sampled the sound from somewhere else as well, possibly from The Latin Rascals - Macho Mozart (Dub 1) from 1987?

I heard this stab in Digital Vamp ‎– You Can Take My Body https://www.discogs.com/Digital-Vamp-You-Can-Take-My-Body/master/265947 - 1989!

What a tune (instrumental mix), simple rave stab intro instantly recognizable and made even more well known by 2 Bad Mice “Bomb Scare”. The deep bass-line, the synth stabs and string cords with their sparse open sound made this an absolute must in every DJ’s set, big Sasha tune. The other mixes are ruined by the vocal as its just doesn’t really work for me and they never got played in the clubs. The instrumental is the one to go for an absolute Belgium gem!

Classic Belgian post new beat track by Olivier Abbeloos. A sureshot staple on the Uk scene with dj's like Sasha (in the North) and the London post hardcore scene dj's (in the South). This track is most possibly even more famous for being used all over the place in samplebased hardcore rave from a couple years later on. In the Uk this specific sound is referred to as "The 2 Bad Mice stab", named after the famous ravetrack almost entirely sampling "Don't mess with this beat". Abbeloos was in my honest opinion the uncrowned king of the ravestabs : creating Neon - Don't mess with this beat, Quadrophonia - Quadrophonia & T99's - Anastasia in the span of 18 months !! Thus so creating the playground for about every rave and jungle track in one go ! Massive respect !
