My copy has no noise or pops at all. You really get an appreciation for how this is mixed specifically for vinyl, it sounds deep and rich.

Also, adjacent, but I just love that Ken Burns and Trent Reznor collaborated on a project. It’s the most random yet some how one of the coolest crossovers ever.

Stunning. Nothing short of absolute perfection. My copy is dead silent and sounds dynamic and gorgeous. Package is a sturdy handsome matte photo. Love everything about this!

Disappointing. Sadly I had to return it. Side A was basically unlistenable due to pops and crackle. Side B was better but only just tolerable. the other 2 records were ok. The package is also bad. the *Cardboard* sleeves scrape the records! Bad Trent! This should be a top quality product. sadly it’s not.
An ambient album like this should be an experience. not a chore. With all the hype Trent give us about going on a journey with him i wish he’d put more effort in to his vinyl releases QC.

Unlike the other commenters here, my copy is very quiet after a quick on-deck cleaning. Really great sounding pressing.

There is some pretty bad surface noise on my copies first lp. The second and third (the side with music on it that is) both sound a lot more clean. Overall a great release if you can find a copy where the lps were left to cool long enough before being put in sleeves, as i believe this is what has caused the surface noise many buyers have commented on. Considering i payed over 100 dollars for mine in store and they had only one copy, i was hugely disappointed that mine was so noisy because it can be bought online for like 50 bucks.

Can anyone comment on the vinyl pressing quality of either copy (US or Europe)?
