Reviews
- Still, ten years after it was recorded, this is an incredibly remarkable album that explores the edges of Butcher's tenor and soprano saxophones. These aren't close mic'd clean recordings however but explorations of natural reverberant spaces, be they oil tankers, caves or the countryside. An incredibly important and nuanced release on the ever-great Confront label.
