- Really nice pressing. Had some stray paper and manufacturing detritus, so I pulled it out of the printed inner (a nice touch) and just did an ultrasonic clean right away. It’s centered, loud, and proud.
- Edited 25 days agoI have three versions of this fantastic album. This MONO 2007 reissue and the 2015 Back to black reissue sounds IMO lifeless, when I turn the volume up it sound awful, very compressed. By contrast, the green reissue (2020 reissue) sounds superb in my system. I love this album so I’m glad to have this copy. I can't recommend the MONO 2007 pressing.
- Mine had a couple of weird small scratches I noticed after I cleaned it (came very dirty with debris out of the shrink). It has an awesome shine now though. It is randomly slightly noisy in little tiny areas but plays amazingly 95% of the time. It certainly beats the crap out of my stereo reissue I had before this (I think that’s was the “back to black” one or whatever). 4/5 stars
- Fantastic mono and a beautiful, clean, flat and heavy press. Best issue ever, and the cover is a work of printer's art. A++
- I bought this copy on release. It's an amazing copy. I've no reason to buy a later re-press. It sounds really very....very good indeed.
If you like Cream, BUY THIS COPY - WOW. This mono release sounds fantastic and the cover art colors are vibrant. It's a shiny surface with the word "Cream" and the surrounding wings slightly raised. Glad I got this even though I fluked it. Day-Glo glory.
