Reviews
- I have mixed impressions. On the one hand the record sounds fantastic. On the other hand the cover art quality is poor.
- I think this pressing is really nice... has great control on the high frequencies, I heard absolutely zero distortion on any high trumpet passages at all.
- I ordered the one copy online that my local shop had in stock and gave it a first listen last night; all the way through both sides. This is a flawless and sublime mono pressing. Go out and buy this audiopile jazz 'must-have' with confidence!
Additionally, I emailed the fine folks at Speaker's Corner and they confirmed back that in 2021 alone, they have done 4 pressing runs; "the mothers are all coming from the same lacquer first made in 2008".
