This is hard swedish Loop Techno with an edge. It is just 5 years old by now, but already sounds like a voice from the past. Once you take that aside you're left with an excellent EP. For those interested in Vinyl comes the first surprise as soon as you take out the record from the sleeve. Side A looks like a collection of Loops, not like 1 Track. Basically it is a collection of loops, but still a good track. Like always Cari's production technique leaves nothing to be desired, the frequencies are exact, the groove on point and fast. It even has a certain minimal Bassic Channel-eque Dub Quality to it as well ; with less than 6 minutes it is pretty short for a Track that gets a whole side, but hey this is def. the Version to play out. The first B-side track starts with a sample from a Kung Fu Movie "You could call it The Art of Fighting without Fighting" and the heavy gooves Return. Nothing's wrong with this either - another fine loop Techno tool - in fact it rivals the A Side track with some fine elements added to the groove and the memorable Bruce Lee sample at the End "Don't Think..." reminds you to Just loose yourselves in the groove - executed with the outmost care + precision. The final Jack Trax is a bit different in that you have a shuffled Chicago Vibe along the hard hitting groove section. This doesn't work as well as the two previous imho. Still a good Track on an even better EP. If all Loop Techno EP's had that much going on or that high quality we would probably hear more of them today..
