Starmania is the long-standing France-Québéc rock opera written in 1976 with music by Michel Berger and lyrics by Luc Plamondon. Many of its songs have passed into mainstream Francophone pop culture. The story references the kidnapping of Patricia Hearst.
Performed and released over the years in several versions, this edition is the original all-Canadian production which debuted in 1980, sub-titled "Starmania: Made In Québec" with the leading roles now filled by Louise Forestier, Gilles Valiquette, Robert Leroux, Karrik-l'Engoulevent co-founder Michel McLean, Martine St-Clair, Jacques Blais, Francis Martin, France Castel and Sylvie Boucher.

Musicens/Musicians: Jimmy Tanaka (piano, percussion & arrangements), Jeff Fisher (synthesizers), Jean-Marie Benoit (guitars), Yves Légaré (guitars), Claude Arsenault (bass), Christian St-Roch (drums).
