After night of the rip chewing the eyebrows off mesmelf on the Doves sweating like a madman, this is where I dug deep back in the gaff with a mountain of mushrooms, handful into the gob then this went on,another handful between each track, trippin balls and then playing whatever else's was close to hand....... anything went down a treat on the shrooms, although Orbital was more than likely the next one.

Had this on the cd in my late teens and destroyed this as it was always on ,
Years went passed until now I've lost all my early CDs .
However I've now got this on 12" and will cherish this one :)

Hands down one of the best Techno Acid Dance records ever produced. I've only ever heard this record played out once in a club and it absolutely destroyed the dancefloor. Maximum strobe moment, the cheering crowd nearly blew the roof off. Heads just aren't making music like this anymore...

Island is the track for me [I think - I have a TP with just Cat.no - it's the aphexy one anyway]
Absolutely lush melodies that shapeshift all the way thru...
Pretty sure Rising High released this without their permish..!

This has to be my favorite Black Dog production. Exceptionally beautiful techno and IDM, with almost trance-like melodic tendencies and nice thumping percussion. This is an easy one to leave on repeat. Each track is memorable in its own right, yet the EP should be listened to from beginning to end for best impact. 1993 was unreal for these guys. Temple of Transparent Balls, the tracks that would later make up Parallels, Bytes, and Parasight - quite a year!
